Our Guarantee & Warranty —
What We Stand Behind

We back every repair with a written labor guarantee and every part with its manufacturer warranty. This page explains exactly what’s covered, what isn’t, and what to do if something doesn’t hold.

Our Coverage

Labor Guarantee & Parts Warranty

We stand behind two things: the quality of our work and the quality of the parts we install. Here’s how each is covered.

🔧 Labor Guarantee

90 Days

If any repair we performed fails due to our workmanship — improper installation, incorrect adjustment, or a technique error on our part — we come back and fix it at no charge. No runaround, no arguing about whether it was our fault. If we did the work and it failed from how we did it, we own it.

⚙ Parts Warranty

Manufacturer

Every part we install carries its manufacturer’s warranty. Springs: typically 1-year manufacturer defect warranty. LiftMaster openers: 1-year motor and parts warranty standard, up to limited lifetime on certain components. Clopay and Amarr doors: 1-year on hardware, limited lifetime on door sections against rust-through. We provide documentation for every warranted part.

What’s Covered — and What Isn’t

Plain Language: What Our Guarantee Covers

A guarantee that doesn’t tell you what’s excluded isn’t a guarantee — it’s marketing. Here’s exactly what our labor guarantee covers and what it doesn’t, in plain language.

✓ Covered by Our Labor Guarantee

  • Spring replacement that fails because the spring was incorrectly sized or wound
  • Cable replacement where the cable fails because of installation error at the drum or anchor
  • Track alignment that returns to misalignment because brackets weren’t properly secured
  • Opener programming that reverts or fails because of our setup error
  • Balance issues that develop because spring tension was set incorrectly
  • Any component failure traceable to how we installed it, not what was installed

✗ Not Covered by Our Labor Guarantee

  • New failures in different components after a repair — we fixed the spring, the cable fails a month later from age
  • Damage caused by vehicle impact after our repair
  • Storm damage to components we repaired — this is an insurance event, not a workmanship issue
  • Corrosion from the Miami Gardens coastal environment — hardware corrodes in this climate regardless of installation quality
  • Normal wear on parts over time beyond the warranty period
  • Issues caused by a different technician working on the door after us
How We Handle a Guarantee Claim

If Something We Repaired Fails — Here’s What Happens

Call us. Tell us you had a repair done by us and describe what’s happening now. We’ll pull your job record and assess whether what you’re describing falls under our labor guarantee.

If it does, we schedule a return visit within 1–2 business days. We don’t charge for the visit, the diagnosis, or the fix if it’s covered. No debates, no making you explain it twice to a different person. We have your job record and we know what we did.

If the failure is in a different component — one we didn’t touch — we come out, diagnose it, and give you a new quote for the new repair. We tell you honestly whether the failure is connected to anything we did or whether it’s a separate wear event. We’ve never had a warranty dispute in eight years of Miami Gardens service that ended with a homeowner feeling they were treated unfairly.

For parts warranty claims: we handle the manufacturer warranty process for you. You don’t contact Clopay or LiftMaster yourself. If a part failed within its warranty period from a manufacturing defect, we coordinate the claim and get you the replacement.

Gardens Door Pros guarantee Miami Gardens
Why This Guarantee Matters in Miami Gardens

The HVHZ Context for Our Warranty

Miami Gardens’ climate is harder on garage door hardware than most markets. Salt air, 70–85% humidity, and hurricane-season stress mean components that fail early may do so from environmental factors rather than installation quality. We’re honest about this distinction because it matters for the warranty conversation.

A torsion spring that snaps 8 months after installation in Miami Gardens might be a manufacturing defect (covered by parts warranty), it might be a sizing error on our part (covered by our labor guarantee), or it might be an environmental fatigue event on a component that was already near end-of-life when we installed it (neither — but we’ll replace it at a fair price and explain why it happened).

We don’t hide behind the “it’s the climate’s fault” explanation when we made an error. And we don’t offer a fictional “lifetime guarantee” on parts in an environment where no spring lasts a lifetime. What we offer is honest coverage, honestly explained, and actually honored.

Guarantee Questions

What Homeowners Ask About Our Warranty

My spring broke 6 weeks after you replaced it. Is that covered?

Call us and describe what happened. If the spring was correctly sized and wound and it broke from a manufacturing defect, that’s a manufacturer warranty claim. If it broke because of a sizing or installation error on our part, that’s our labor guarantee. In either case, we come out, assess, and don’t charge if the failure is on us or the manufacturer.

I had a storm after you fixed my door and now it’s broken again. Is that covered?

Storm damage is an insurance event, not a workmanship issue. If the storm broke a component we repaired, we can come assess and give you a written damage report for your insurance claim. If the failure is traceable to an installation error rather than storm force, we cover it. We’ll be straight with you about which category applies.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Call us at (786) 377-9906 and reference your repair date and address. We pull the job record from our system. No receipt required — we document every job internally. We’ll assess the situation and let you know if it’s covered and when we can come out.

Does the warranty transfer if I sell my house?

Our labor guarantee is tied to the job record, not the homeowner. If you sell within the guarantee period and the new owner has an issue with a repair we did, call us with the property address and repair date. We’ll assess it the same way we would for the original owner.
